I can say, without a doubt, that I am addicted to Pinterest. It's a website where you can look up pictures and ideas on basically anything. I personally, have loaded one of my boards with cookies. Cookies are amazing, well mostly chocolate is amazing. So why not make a blog about all of my favorite recipes? Some are delicious, some are weird but they're still my favorite meal of the day, desserts.

OREO TRUFFLES.
OREO TRUFFLES
I just found this recipe on Pinterst and I just about died. I LOVE oreos, with a passion. They are probably one of the best snacks, honestly, oreos should be their own food group. Well, maybe that's a little overboard. But seriously, I just made these a couple nights ago and they were the quickest and easiest things I have ever made. I know I say this a lot, but if you are going to make anything, make this. It only cost me ten dollars and literally took 30 minutes. Quick. Easy. Affordable. SCORE.
Anywho, you will need:
1 package of Double Stuffed Oreos
1 brick of Cream Cheese
2 bags of Chocolate Chips (I picked out white chocolate so they had a difference in color, and because it would add more flavors to it, but ultimately it's your decision)
So to start, you need to crush up the Oreos so there are few chunks. I put half of the package in a bag and used a rolling pin to smash them, so they wouldn't get anywhere and so the pieces were of the same size.
The recipe I used said that they only use about 4 oz of Cream Cheese, but if you may use up to 8 oz. Well, my boyfriend and I agreed on doing 6 ounces because it was in the middle. But, because I'm a blonde at heart, I forgot and added the whole brick (which was 8 ounces). They still tasted amazing though!
So make sure the cheese is soft so you can mix it easily with the oreos. I used my hands because they are going to get messy anyways, plus this was they are fully combined.
Roll the dough into balls and place on a cookie sheet. Leave them in the freezer just long enough to harden. While they are in the freezer, start melting your chocolate according to the directions on the bag.
Once the Oreo mix is hard, cover them in the dipping chocolate. You may have to work fast so the chocolate doesn't harden in the pan. Allow them to harden again and enjoy!
I might bring some into class, if my family doesn't eat them all first :)
