So, just another amazing Pinterest find. This is a quick snack that would be great for any movie night, as long as you like mints and chocolate. This is called Fudge Mint Popcorn and looks just as good as it tastes. So if you have 30 minutes to spare before movie night, make this, and your friends will love you.
You will need:
8 cup popped popcorn
1 cup miniature marshmallows
3/4 cup M&M's
1 1/2 cup chopped fudge mint cookies
1 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 tsp. shortening
3 Tbsp. sprinkles
First things first, pop the popcorn. I used an old air popper that my grandma and mom used when they made popcorn balls. So, simple enough, just pop the popcorn.
Combine the popped corn, marshmellows, only 3/4 cups of M&M's, and only 1 cup of the fudge mint cookies in a large bowl. Make sure every item is evenly dispersed throughout the entire bowl. That way you get flavor in one bite!
Use another bowl, microwave safe for this one would be best, since it's going in the microwave. In this one, put in the white chocolate and the shortening. Heat this bowl slowly, and stir often to make sure it's mixed. Heat this mixture until it is completely melted, and pour over the popcorn mix.
Lay out wax paper on a flat surface. Next, toss the mixture in the larger bowl until everything is coated and spread on the wax paper. QUICKLY BEFORE IT HARDENS, sprinkle with the rest of the cookie crumbs and M&M's. Now, let it harden.
Now the picture show that it has melted green shit all over it. I didn't do this, well simply I just didn't want to wait any longer to melt the stuff, pour it on top, and let it harden. I'm a teenage girl, I'm impatient. If you want so add the green stuff, it's 1/4 cups of green candy melts. Another reason for not doing it, I have no idea what was meant by "green candy melts", if there is such a thing. If I can't find it on a shelf at Meijers, then it doesn't exsist in my book. Just kidding. But really, I didn't know what they meant so I just voided that step out.
And there you have it. A delicious treat that took you less than 30 minutes. With Halloween, haunted houses, and corn mazes just around the corner, this is the perfect snack to just put in a bag and munch on in the car. Eat and enjoy :)

That sounds yummy.. We love popcorn in our house especially on movie night. Will have to try it out..
