2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
If making chocolate no bakes, add 1/2 Cup Cocoa
Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, then add:
1/2 (Heaping) Cup Peanut Butter
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3 Cups Oatmeal
Place in spoonfuls onto wax or parchment paper. Sometimes when using the papers, the cookies are so hot that they melt some wax onto the counter top. We have started putting newspapers underneath the wax paper, just so we don't have random wax circles all over. Let them harden and enjoy!
This is one of my all time favorites! My mother has made these no bakes for years and I've been helping her do so for my entire life. I even have this recipe memorized, I know, kind of sad. I highly recommend that anyone try this. You have to make sure everything is even and done precisely. You don't want to burn anything to the bottom of the pan, so make sure you mix everything well as to not have chunks of peanut butter in your cookies.
Another note, this makes about 24 decently sized cookies so if you are giving some away, make sure to make both the Chocolate and the Peanut Butter. Plus, I like the Peanut Butter more, but most like the Chocolate. Anyways, I hope you all love these cookies just as much as all my friends and family have!
